Color: Acid Purple

The DDC is constructed of Solid Brass Rings and a Solid Brass Clasp that allows the user to simply clip the collar around his/her canine's neck.

Lacking the holes of classic metal choke chain, this collar will protect your canine's fur. The collar is light weight which helps keep the collar just below the jaw line, the optimal location for a choke/slip collar. This light weight attribute also keeps the DDC above any other collar your canine might be wearing (i.e. an e-collar, or flat collar). Keeping the DDC above all other collars and just below the jawline makes for a swift Tactical Take Off, when a manual take off is required.

It is best to measure your canine's neck starting just behind the ears and then around the jaw line. Keep a little slack, maybe one - two fingers worth, in the measuring tape. Round up to the nearest inch.

Helpful for multiple applications

We recently picked up two of these collars for our dual purpose K9's. One being a 90 lb German Shepherd and one being a 55 lb Mal. The shepherd is nearing the end of his career and we have been working for years on keeping him quiet during K9 announcements. Using gentle pressure on the DDC any time he barks has made a world of difference in just two sessions working with him. For the Mal, she is brand new and despite being small can alligator roll with the best of them on a lift off. Her handler is rather petite and the DDC has given her the ability to do lift offs with no rolling and little effort, all with almost zero conflict. We are excited to keep using this tool for our differing needs. It is very convenient to be able to throw in a pocket to always have with you in case the need arises for it. This will be standard equipment for all of the K9's in our program moving forward!
For reference we got the Shepherd a 17 inch, which is fairly snug. A 17 1/2" would probably be better but he is not wearing it on a regular basis anyway. The Mal has a 14 which is just right.

Quality product that holds up to daily use and training days.

Just received my second order for my growing pack. Love the way that they hold up to daily use and training days. I imagine that these are a lot more comfortable than the metal style, but my dogs won’t say.

Great collar, very light, I truly like the thicker brass ring, makes it easier to find when preparing to conduct a tactical release.

Awesome equipment

All of my dominant dog collars have stood the test of time. They’ve been on numerous dogs and beat up. Still perfect. The clasps are strong and durable enough for the strongest dogs. I will continue to purchase them.
