The DDC is constructed of Solid Brass Rings and a Solid Brass Clasp that allows the user to simply clip the collar around his/her canine's neck. 

The DDC 2.0 has an extra ring attached alongside the clasp. This extra ring acts as a "Dead Ring" allowing the Handler to run the collar in "Slip" or "Non-Slip" mode without having to change the position of the collar clasp. The Handler simply needs to change his lead to either the dead ring or live ring on the collar.

Lacking the holes of classic metal choke chain, this collar will protect your canine's fur. The collar is light weight which helps keep the collar just below the jaw line, the optimal location for a choke/slip collar. This lightweight attribute also keeps the DDC above any other collar your canine might be wearing (i.e. an e-collar, or flat collar). Keeping the DDC above all other collars and just below the jawline makes for a swift Tactical Take Off, when a manual take off is required.

It is best to measure your canine's neck starting just behind the ears and then around the jaw line. Keep a little slack, maybe one - two fingers worth, in the measuring tape. Round up to the nearest inch.

We love these collars. We recommend them to all of our clients. Ben is super nice and accommodating. I had to exchange mine twice for the perfect fit and he made everything so easy. We came across his site by accident after not being satisfied with the Leerburg version of a dominant collar. The colors Rader K9 offers are SO nice. Having the dead ring is also super helpful for just casual use. Love the option of a different color for that too.

Great Collar and Great Customer Service!

I am incredibly pleased with this collar. It was recommended by a friend who works professionally with dogs. I made a mistake when autofill put in the wrong address for shipping. I called and left a message to see if it could be corrected after the order was placed. My call was returned in less than 15 minutes. The address was corrected and my collar was already being made to order.

Since the collar has arrived I have much better control on walks with my pup. I make sure the collar sits up high, just behind her ears. A very quick, light pull on the lead will get her back on track if she starts to get ahead of me. No pain for her and no being dragged for me.

Added bonus? The acid purple goes beautifully with her purple flat collar. We are happy customers!

Amazing Collar for Working Dogs

I recently purchased this collar for my hard pulling Mal. The quality was top notch and easy to learn how to use. It is very functional and provides the precise correction I need to communicate with my dog. I ordered a red, brass equip. dominant collar and selected the wrong size. Ben was nice enough to provide me with an exchange for the correct size and this has worked perfectly for my dog! Fits like a glove and I just love the quality!
